Airtel, during its security operations, witnessed a surge in cyberattacks like malware, DDoS, Phishing etc. To deal with this, the firm has upgraded its SOC to a higher threat-level. It has also suggested its customers – 500K SMEs, 2000 large enterprises – to take proactive measures like Network traffic monitorisation for all channels, location-based supervision of traffic from other nations, installation of internet-accessible patches on webpages/assets etc.
