Google for India: Google partners with CBSE to empower digital education

Google will support ‘blended learning’ – a mix of online learning and classroom approach – across 22k schools in India. It will invest $1M to train teachers on virtual education using tools like G Suite for Education, Google Classroom etc. KEF will receive $1M for lower-income households and to empower, train 700k teachers on virtual education to enable students learn from home. Students without internet, smartphone access will be reached through TV, radio etc.
