Cybersecurity researchers reported vulnerabilities in a commercial drone-controlling app. In a separate report, researchers claimed this app to be collecting massive personal data of users. The app is used to control drones made by China-based Da Jiang Innovations or DJI – the world’s largest commercial drone maker. It has lakhs of users and is available on Google Android OS. This information can be misused by China. Pentagon has already banned DJI drones.
