How technology is driving sales for e-commerce giants like Amazon, Walmart

Data is the new oil and e-comm giants are efficiently using it to drive sales by offering better customer experience. ML with data science derives users’ buying patterns which help recommendation systems suggest customized products; hence, boosting sales. Amazon said that 35% of its sales are controlled by these engines. Walmart, using voice recognition tech, created Walmart Voice Ordering service that eased ordering for its customers, increasing sales.
