Oracle has reportedly won a deal to manage TikTok’s US cloud operations. Hence, Oracle will be helping run TikTok’s US operations with its own cloud technologies. The WSJ reports that the company has been selected as a “trusted tech partner”. This is, however, different from an outright sale. Oracle’s news comes just an hour after Microsoft revealed that it was no longer in the TikTok acquisition race as its bid was rejected by ByteDance.
