Adobe acquires marketing workflow management startup Workfront for $1.5B

Adobe to acquire Utah based work management platform for marketers Workfront, for $1.5 bn. The acquisition of Workfront, a long-standing partner of Adobe, will bring efficiency, collaboration, productivity gains to marketing teams and consolidate Adobe’s expertise in customer experience management. Workfront CEO Alex Shootman will continue to lead the Workfront team. Adobe and Workfront have a base of over 1,000 shared customers.
