Indian retailers implement AI-based WhatsApp chatbot for better customer engagement. The move is related to the changing consumer behaviour of buying online during the pandemic. Supermarket operator Spencer’s Retail, Ethnic-wear retailer Meena Bazaar, luggage giant Samsonite, Puma etc upgraded customer services with WhatsApp chatbot. These bots engage with customers by giving details of products, answering basic questions, and following up on the customers.
