The Exports of electronics goods by India reached ₹8,806 cr in Dec 2020. About 35% of these exports or say exports worth Rs ₹3,061 cr were constituted by the sale of Mobile phones which is 50% higher than Dec 2019. Pankaj Mohindroo, chairman of, ICEA said that due to the government’s PLI scheme, the handset manufacturing industry has received an investment of over ₹2,000 cr during the pandemic.
