Panasonic is likely in talks to buy Blue Yonder, U.S. supply-chain software firm, for 700 bn yen ($6.45 bn) even though it has not been confirmed by the company. The electronic company already holds a 20% stake in Blue Yonder which it has acquired for 8 bn yen and is now in the final stages of obtaining the rest of the stock from shareholders including Blackstone Group Inc.
