Dharmendra Chatur who was recently appointed as Twitter’s interim resident grievance officer for India has stepped down. Twitter is facing a heavy backlash as the govt feels it is purposely not following the new IT rules despite being given many opportunities. The microblogging site, in the recent past, has blocked IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad’s account, removed blue ticks, labeled BJP member’s tweets as manipulated media, and displeased the Parliamentary panel.
