Salesforce has moved its software to a local data center in India. This will enable the company to expand its market in the country, as regulators often insist on data localisation. Salesforce Chairperson and CEO, Arundhati Bhattacharya said the trend of moving apps to the cloud has accelerated during the pandemic. The cloud computing company has added 1,000 people in India during the last few months, taking the country’s headcount to 5,000.
