NetApp is looking to onboard more Indian startups for its 6th Cohort. India is an emerging centre for R&D for Netapp, as it looks to strengthen its position in Indian public cloud market which is estimated at ₹17,000 cr at present to ₹63,000 cr by 2025. The company has selected five technology startups including CloudSEK, Senseforth.ai, Lightwing, Coralogix and Curl Analytics in its past program. NetApp India has filed 500 patents, of which 280 have been approved.
NetApp announced the new appointments to its India leadership team. The firm has appointed Ganesan Arumugam, Director of Channels and Siddharth Nalawade, Enterprise head, NetApp India and SAARC. In his current role, Ganesan will oversee the channel strategy and bolster the ecosystem in India. Siddharth will be responsible for the overall go-to-market strategy, also helping scale the company’s cloud services offerings in the enterprise segment.
