Google India has partnered with companies like Zoho, Instamojo and others to help small and medium businesses build digital presence. Small businesses will be able to create websites using Zoho inventory and sell online through Zoho commerce for free till March 31, 2021. Instamojo is offering a six-month free subscription to its ‘Premium Online Store Solution’. Google has also partnered with Dunzo and Swiggy.
Zoho is removing payment option from its Doc Scanner app. Thus, offering it free for Indian users for one year. This step comes in after the Indian govt banned Chinese document scanning app – CamScanner – along with 58 other apps. Earlier the firm allowed 10 free scans in its basic plan with its premium plan costing Rs 2999. Zoho has been an active supporter of Swadeshi Sankalp initiative and has created several apps for the same.
Top SaaS firms, as COVID-19 cases continue to grow, have decided to continue WFH until December. While Chargebee and Freshworks have mandated WFH till the end of 2020, Zoho has not decided a specific date to resume WFO. Tech companies with firm security tools and productivity monitorisation are comfortable with remote working. Kissflow, another SaaS firm has set up Remote plus, a hybrid remote working model where WFO is required only one week a month.
