Amazon to Discontinue Chime Communications Service by February 2026

Amazon has announced plans to discontinue its unified communications service, Chime, ceasing support by February 20, 2026. The service, utilized by Amazon employees for meetings, chats, and business calls, will stop accepting new customers starting February 19, 2025. This move follows the recent shutdown of Amazon's short-form video feature, Inspire, and precedes the anticipated launch of its Alexa generative AI voice service later this month.
