63,000-plus robots at Accenture’s operations

<p>Economic times reported that Accenture’s operations division has a robot workforce of 63,000, the largest in the industry. Manish Sharma, head of the $6 bn unit and 141,000 employees, said that robots will not be replacing humans resources. In Accenture MRPT — measurable, repeatable, predictable and transaction work — will be assigned to robots under the supervision of people. “I don’t want my people to do boring jobs," he said.</p>
