 Bank of England considering Creation of National Digital Currency

<p>The Bank of England stated on its website that it was taking central bank digital currency (CBDC) into consideration because of changes in how individuals choose to pay for goods and services. The Bank stated in a statement last week that the central bank must make plans for these changes since they bring with them new opportunities and threats. Money that a central bank, such as the Bank of England, can create is known as central bank digital currency (CBDC).</p>
