AMC is now accepting Dogecoin as payment for movie tickets

<p>The AMC Theaters app will now accept Dogecoin and Shiba Inu for ticket and concession purchases, according to the company&#39;s CEO Adam Aron. After declaring in November that it was &quot;exploring&quot; how to accept the cryptocurrency, the firm provided support for them through a Bitpay integration. Although Bitpay accepts cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, AMC has been allowing moviegoers to buy tickets using such currencies through PayPal for a few months.</p>
