Blockchain could serve as operating system for supply chains

<p>DTDC, one the biggest players in the industry, is planning to leverage Blockchain to boost its existing ecosystem. CFO and CTO, Santosh Abbimane said that blockchain will allow them to create smart contracts with suppliers which will have defined terms, conditions and mode of functioning. He added that this will also enable intelligent data collection and control of all goods which will give critical information on the state of goods and time of delivery.</p>
