Coinbase supports lawsuit against US Treasury over Tornado Cash sanctions

<p>The US Treasury Department is being sued by Coinbase to overturn sanctions that prevent Americans from using Tornado Cash. Six Tornado Cash users sued the department in a US district court in Texas, claiming that the agency had overstepped its bounds in banning the crypto exchange and violated their right to free speech. Last month, the Treasury Department levied penalties on Tornado Cash amid claims that the company had laundered virtual currency worth more than $7B.</p>
