Crypto miners should share emission and energy data: US Senators

<p>The Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy in the US have been urged to take action against cryptocurrency mining by US Senator Elizabeth Warren and other Democratic leaders. They urged the authorities to get information on emissions and energy use from cryptocurrency miners. The largest cryptocurrency by market cap, Bitcoin, is being mined more and more on-shore, with the US accounting for roughly 38% of global mining in January of this year.</p>
