Crypto.com accidentally refunds $7M to customer who owed $68

<p>Crypto.com accidentally gave a customer A$10.5M ($7.2M) instead of the anticipated A$100 ($68). When the exchange eventually realized the mistake seven months later, some of the money had already vanished. The first transfer took place in May 2021. However, the error wasn&#39;t discovered by the exchange until a December audit that year. The business has since filed a lawsuit in Victoria Supreme Court to try and recover its money.</p>
