NFT marketplace OpenSea fires 20% of it's employees

<p>Devin Finzer, co-founder and CEO of OpenSea, announced that the NFT marketplace is letting go of around 20% of its workforce. Finzer did not specify the number of individuals that were represented. The business, which was valued at $13.3 B and had recently acquired $300M in new capital, dominated the token market and paid a 2.5% commission on trades. In the past month, 1,100 workers were let go by cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.</p>
