Thane Smart City completes pilot blockchain project for property tax assessment certificate

<p>VeriDoc has enabled a blockchain-based pilot project for property tax assessment certification at Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), Maharashtra. The project has been implemented under the programme of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). It will alleviate multiple pain points by tracking late payments, monitoring collection targets, recording the non-delivering bills and facilitating inter-department coordination within the government.</p>
