Upskilling to be top priority for IT sector as Web 3.0, Metaverse take shape

<p>New technology concepts like Web 3.0 and metaverse are expected to exceedingly increase the demand for skilled workers. According to a report titled &#39;Upskilling Outlook in India 2022&#39; by Great Learning, an ed-tech company for higher education, 79 percent of professionals (including freshers) are planning to upskill in their domains as jobs in newer domains emerge. For example, Meta will be hiring 10,000 professionals in the EU alone for its metaverse commitment.</p>
