HP Acquires Humane for $116 Million, Discontinues AI Pin

HP Inc. has agreed to acquire Humane Inc. for $116 million, leading to the discontinuation of Humane's AI Pin device. The acquisition includes Humane's employees, software, and over 300 patents, with the transaction expected to finalize in late February 2025. Sales of the AI Pin have ceased, and its online services will terminate on February 28, 2025. Refunds are available for devices purchased after November 15, 2024, with claims due by February 27.
