Birdie, a maker of social care SaaS, raises $30M
<p>Care technology software-as-a-service provider Birdie, based in the UK, has secured a $30 million Series B funding round, which was led by investment firm Sofina, Index Ventures, which led Birdie's Series A funding round last year. Omers Ventures also participated. The employees of about 700 care companies are currently providing "millions" of visits per month to the approximately 35,000 care recipients in Birdie's native market of the U.K.</p>
