Cloud service providers group together to protest against TRAI’s new rules

<p>Major cloud service providers including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, VMWare and IBM are grouping together to protest against TRAI&rsquo;s rules released two weeks ago. The rules require cloud firms to join a new industry body to be set up under the aegis of the DoT. Telecom firms won&rsquo;t be allowed to provide any infra to any cloud service provider who declines to join the new grouping. Later this week, the cloud firms plan to petition the DoT through NASSCOM and COAI.</p>
