Google cancels cloud project meant for countries including China

<p>Google cancelled its &ldquo;Isolated Region project&rdquo; meant for china and other countries due to geopolitical and COVID-19 pandemic concerns. Isolated Region project, enabled to offer cloud services in countries that control data within borders, was shut down in May after and one-half years, media reports said. The project, it is worth a mention, was paused in China in Jan 2019 and was redirected to countries in Europe, the MEA.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
