Google Plans to Establish its First Cloud Region in Greece

<p>Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc, announced that it would establish its first cloud region in Greece, supporting that nation&#39;s attempts to establish itself as a global center for cloud computing. According to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the agreement is expected to add about 2.2 B euros ($2.13 B) to Greece&#39;s economic output and provide about 20,000 jobs by 2030.</p>
