Microsoft announces 5G centric services for Azure-for-telcos platform

<p>Microsoft is focusing its new product announcements at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on its telecommunications customers. Azure Operator Distributed Services, according to officials, will bring together Azure security, Azure Arc management, monitoring, AI, machine learning, and other Azure services. Customers can use this platform on-premises or in the Azure public cloud. The AT&amp;T mobile core network was built with Azure Operator Distributed Services in mind.</p>
