Italy lifts ban on ChatGPT after GPDP data protection and age verification requirements are met

Italy has lifted its ban on ChatGPT, a language model powered by artificial intelligence, after the company complied with data protection and age verification requirements set by the Italian Data Protection Authority (GPDP). The GPDP had imposed a ban on ChatGPT's services earlier this year, citing concerns over the model's potential impact on children and the need to protect user data. As a result, ChatGPT is now available for use in Italy once again.
