CCI may question Google about 7.73% stake purchase in Jio

<p>The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has lately been probing Google for the allegations that it uses its market dominance negatively. The agency is set to ask Google whether its purchase of 7.73% stake in Jio Platforms would entail any sharing of data in a way that could hinder the progress of the competition. Among the things being studied by the CCI are how much of Google&rsquo;s investment in Jio Platforms would go into handset development and manufacturing.</p>
