Chinese apps weighing legal recourse against Indian government ban

<p>Several Chinese apps that have been permanently banned by the Indian govt are weighing the legal option of challenging the order in court, media reports said. TikTok, SHAREit, UC Browser, Club Factory, WeChat and others had been served an interim ban order in June. Last week, MeitY sent another notice to them saying that the ban will continue. The banned apps are also questioning the govt process, which they claim did not allow for a hearing in-person.</p> <p> </p>
