Facebook settles data privacy lawsuit with Cambridge Analytica

<p>Facebook has agreed to settle a case filed in federal court in San Francisco demanding damages for allowing third parties, access to users&#39; private information. It sought that the judge to halt the class action for 60 days while the plaintiffs&#39; and Facebook&#39;s legal teams work out a written settlement. In a four-year-old case, Facebook was accused of breaking consumer privacy laws by disclosing user personal details to outside companies.</p>
