Government to issue SOPs after IT industry flags WFH rules in SEZs

<p>In regards to the new work-from-home regulations, the government will shortly publish the standard operating procedures that special economic zones must adhere to. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will release the SOPs, which will take into account the worries expressed by the $200B IT industry about onerous and strict compliance standards. The existing WFH policy for companies operating in SEZs allows 50% or more employees in these zones to work from home.</p>
