Indian Govt Issues Guidelines To Curb Fake Online Reviews

<p>The Indian government has published a framework to prevent false and deceptive evaluations on e-commerce sites and portals that offer travel and tourism services, dining establishments, and consumer goods. According to the standards, platforms must set up review administrators who will manually or automatically monitor reviews to weed out biases and prevent false reviews. The structure stipulated that the reviews must include the publication date and star rating.</p>
