Microsoft reverses policy that would have prohibited commercial open source apps

<p>Microsoft has stated that it will not be enacting the previously announced new policy. The policy would effectively prohibit developers from selling open source software on the Windows app store. The new policy states that developers shouldn't try to make money off of open-source software or other software that is often given away for free, nor should their products be priced arbitrarily high in comparison to the features and capabilities they offer.</p>
