Porsche Officially Begins Producing Synthetic Fuel

<p>Porsche has pumped the first gallons of its eFuel into a car for the first time that is to reduce production cost to roughly $2 per liter. EFuels are meant to be carbon-neutral alternatives. The company invested &euro;20 million in a pilot project in Punta Arenas, Chile and $75 million in HIF Global. Porsche has set its sights on producing 55 million liters of e-fuels per year in the next three years. .
