Russian court fines Apple for violating data storage law
<p>A Moscow court fined Apple $2M rubles (about $34,000) on Tuesday for refusing to keep Russian consumers' personal information on the country's servers. Under the same regulation, Zoom Video Communications, and Ookla, which operates the internet utility Speedtest, each received a 1 million ruble fine. The Russian government has been attempting to exert more control over social media and the internet for years.</p>
