40% users think IoT device security completely upto manufacturers

<p>VPN provider NordVPN has released findings of research that show that 40% of users think manufacturers are entirely responsible for their device security. Almost 88% of users surveyed used some IoT device in their household, while only 55.9% of those took any extra measures to ensure device security. In the wake of growing cybercrime, where IoT devices are very vulnerable, 41.4% of users blamed manufacturers for security lapses, while 18% blamed the Government.</p> <p> </p>
