Cambodia implements full time internet surveillance gateway to tackle online freedom

<p>February 16th will see Cambodia implement a full-time internet surveillance gateway, which was initially announced in January 2021. All internet service providers and mobile carriers will be forced to route their internet traffic through this gateway. Human Rights Watch has said that this will allow the concerned authority to maintain tight control and give them the power to block and disconnect someone at will.</p>
