Chinese employees can access US users' data, Tiktok confirms
<p>TikTok said that some workers working outside of the US might access data from US users, drawing fresh ire from politicians who have expressed concern over the social network's data-sharing policies. The firm's admission was contained in a letter it sent to nine US senators after they accused TikTok and its parent company of spying on US individuals and sought an explanation. Currently, certain data on TikTok's US users can only be accessed by employees based in China.</p>
