Chinese Premier stresses data security following 1B residents' data breach

<p>China&#39;s premier Li Keqiang, alarmed by the suspected data leak involving around 1B citizens, has emphasized data security and urged government agencies to &quot;protect information security.&quot; The Chinese government, according to the Premier, must &quot;defend information security to protect personal information, privacy, and sensitive corporate information.&quot; The remarks followed the exposure of highly private data pertaining to more than a billion Chinese people.</p>
