Deadly cyberattacks: woman in Germany dies after ransomware attack on hospital

<p>An unintentional ransomware attack on Duesseldorf University Hospital took the life of a woman in Germany. The hospital couldn&rsquo;t accept emergency patients due to the attack, and the woman was sent to a healthcare facility around 20 miles away. This is the first time death is caused because of a cyberattack on a hospital. The ransom note was addressed to a nearby university, indicating that the attacks were not intended for the hospital.</p>
