Facebook Marketplace Antitrust Violation: EU Issues Warning to Meta

<p>On Monday, the European Commission announced that it had warned Meta that by stifling competition in the online classified advertising sectors, it is violating EU antitrust regulations. The Commission stated it may levy a fine up to 10% of the Meta&#39;s annual global turnover. Meta denied having anti-competitive business activities. It expressed concern that the terms and conditions are not required for the supply of online display advertising services on its platforms.</p>
