German tech firm hit by massive ransomware attack

<p>German tech firm Software AG has suffered a massive malware attack, with hackers asking for a ransom of $23M after stealing employee information and company docs. The attackers published screenshots of the company&rsquo;s data on a website the hackers operate on the dark web. The screenshots show employee passport and ID scans, employee emails, financial docs and directories from the company&rsquo;s internal network. However, the customer cloud services were unaffected.</p>
