Google tests E2E encryption in messaging app to make group chats safe

<p>Group conversations using RCS are being tested by Google. The feature would make one-on-one texts received through Google Messages safer and more private because E2E encryption will ensure that only the sender and recipient can see them. In the next weeks, this will be accessible to a select group of individuals in the open beta program. The business has also started a push to get Apple to use this standard for its own messaging service, Messages.</p>
