Hackers Aiming for Tech Supply Chains Cause Rise in Security Startups

<p>Cyberattacks on the digital supply chain have increased in frequency. Consequently, the market for technologies to safeguard the software development cycles which was worth $3.7 billion globally in 2017 and is projected to reach $9.2 billion in 2026, a more than twofold increase. This, therefore, caused several tech giants like Microsoft, Alphabet, and Google to release tools to prevent attacks against software development pipelines.</p>
