In light of Europe's concerns about data privacy, TikTok delays changes to privacy policy
<p>TikTok halted modifications to its privacy policy for targeted advertising while the main European Union regulator investigated whether they complied with the bloc's data protection laws. Italy's data protection authorities had raised the first red flag when it claimed that Chinese-owned TikTok had informed users that it would start targeting them with advertisements. starting on July 13 without gaining their consent to use the data saved on their devices.</p>
