Malicious TikTok access links on messages, WhatsApp stealing users’ data

<p>The ban on Chinese app TikTok has infuriated creators who earned money from the short-video sharing app. Catching this opportunity to trap people, fraudsters have broadcasted malicious links over instant messaging apps like WhatsApp or even text messages, claiming to give access to the app again. These links contain malware, capable of stealing users&rsquo; data. The Maharashtra Cyber cell released a warning to internet users who received such links.</p>
